Willow Glen

Willow Glen is a neighborhood within San Jose.  The walk-able, tree-lined streets, diverse architecture, sidewalk cafes, boutiques, and vintage shops offer a small town-feel in the middle of the big city. It was founded in the mid-1800's, and the neighborhood still celebrates this founding every year, wanting to keep it's independent feel. Annexed into San Jose in 1936, it was once its own city, becoming so in order to reroute railroads from going through the area. Several annual street festivals showcase this great neighborhood to thousands of visitors every year.
